Breezecare FREE Bad Breath Phone Advice

We are here to help and available most days. Our FREE phone consultation is very popular as our consultants have extensive training, and can help make sense of any issues you may have. With just a quick 10 minute consultation we can set you on the right path.

If you want an in-depth diagnosis, please come to our Sydney clinic. We have specialised machinery that measures your breath, allowing us to see where the issues arise from. Our Halicheck machine measures 3 main gases that come from biofilms in the mouth and throat and cause bad breath. Our research since 1995 allows us to diagnose where these different biofilms are situated, and how to best remove them to give you results. We then use a clinical examination combined with xrays and lifestyle quiz, to confirm the results our machinery is showing us. Halicheck machinery is only available at our clinic, and is not found at other dental practices.

We Help Fix Bad Breath & Yucky Taste

Here is information on the three different types of Bad Breath Consultations we offer.

Phone Consultation

A quick 10 minute call may be all you need to find out why you have bad breath and a yucky taste. We are experts in these issues and can help identify where your problem comes from.

Our phone consultants have been trained since 1995 in a protocol developed by dentist Dr. Geoffrey Speiser (founder of Australian Breath Clinic & BreezeCare Oral Health). With the asking of pertinent questions we are able to identify where your issues arise from. And best of all it is free.

Consultant Halicheck

Visit us and we can use our special machinery to measure your breath from different areas of your mouth and throat. Our trained consultants can then diagnose & treat the issues found.

1. We go through a thorough health and lifestyle quiz to see how you have been looking after your mouth.

2. We will take a sample of you breath (mouth air) to be analysed by our Gas Chromograph called a Halicheck Oral Chroma. This machine breaks your breath sample into over 50 individual gases so we can see which ones you are high in, that might be causing your breath issue.

From the above results our consultant will be able to make a diagnosis of your issues.

Dentist Halicheck

Visit us and our "Halitosis Trained" dentist will oversee your complete examination. Part of this consult will be claimable on your private health fund.

1. We go through a thorough health and lifestyle quiz. This is essential to see how you have been looking after your mouth over many years. Many times we can make a provisional diagnosis just from our questions.

2. We will take a sample of you breath (mouth air) to be analysed by our Gas Chromograph called a Halicheck Oral Chroma. This machine breaks your breath sample into over 50 individual gases so we can see which ones you are high in, that might be causing your breath issue.

3. You will undergo a complete dental examination by one of our Halicheck trained dentists. Usually this will be Dr Speiser (the developer of the KForce System). We will look at your teeth, your gums, your tongue, your saliva and also check if your throat may be part of your issues.

From these three important steps we are able to put together a complete diagnosis as to why you may have a breath or dry mouth issue. If we feel your issue is a dental one then we can treat you quickly and simply for immediate results. However if we feel there is a medical component to your problem we have a group of medical specialists we also use for extra aid.

Bad Breath Causing Paranoia

The patient (a 45 year old female) attended our Edgecliff Clinic complaining of constant bad breath and sour taste. They said the halitosis was sporadic and was therefore causing them stress as they could not identify the reason. The patient said they cleaned their teeth diligently. However they do not tongue clean as they tend to "gag" and found tongue cleaning uncomfortable. They were not concerned about particular toothpastes and tended to buy whatever was on sale when they went shopping.
